The Great Performer

THE PURPOSE OF THE GREAT PERFORMER
I suppose this is one of the most interesting pieces of writing I have ever endeavored to write, this is mainly caused by three factors namely the time in which I write this book, secondly the subject that I am treating and thirdly the person that I am writing to, having said that I must be grateful to you for taking the time to page through this book.
These are three areas that motivated me to write this book:
Time:  I started writing this book a day after the opening of the Soweto Performance academy where we had 300 grade 12 students, who looked at me with unwavering attention as I rendered a motivational talk, their focus and attention gave me a different perception on what is known as a ghetto child.
I realized that the new breed of Sowetans hate failure and would like to do better than their predecessors, this grew my vision of just speaking to them to dig deep into my God given pool of talent and create a training book, that will equip them to be competitive after their Grade 12. As one company said on top it is a school but underneath we are unearthing diamonds
The beginning of greatness is filled with uncertainty as you have seen no one do it before, but when you keep on keeping on soon they will call you a visionary. (Sizwe Mtiyane)
The subject
This book was born 2010 a year after we had very disappointing grade 12, results; this therefore makes the subject very important for the class of 2010, who need to do far better than their seniors.
Also my social scenes have shown me the importance of this subject as I sit daily with man and woman who present great ideas but never follow them through. It is with no doubt that people need to be educated, trained and equipped to be action people.
The distance between a dream and achievement is implementing a plan of action. (Sizwe Mtiyane)
The reader
In the days of the great wars one speaker said that the pen is mightier than the sword, I know for a fact that this book will land on hands that have never personally met me but through, the power of the written word you and I can hold hands in this journey of helping you to reach your maximum potential.
I write this book knowing that I am not the only dreamer, but there are many of us out there, therefore I would like to be that catalyst that stirs you into action and helps you to live in the peak of your potential.
To go beyond one page and read to the end of a book is the beginning of the renewal of mind. (Sizwe Mtiyane)

  2. Hi Mr. Mtiyane

Quite an inspiring profile and passage. As part of the new generation, I strongly feel that this format of action especially to the youth really needs to be plouged in and thanks to people like you the feat is rolled out.

I therefore support you all the way brother.

    Keep up the good work
